Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tagtory ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Tagtory is a mobile application that helps users organize and track physical belongings using NFC (Near Field Communication) tags. The App allows you to:

  • Register and manage NFC tags linked to items
  • Store item information including names, descriptions, photos, and locations
  • Organize items into groups
  • Share items with nearby devices
  • Back up data to iCloud (Pro subscription required)

Free and Pro Versions

Free Version

The free version of Tagtory includes:

  • Up to 10 NFC tag registrations
  • Up to 3 groups
  • 1 photo per item
  • Unlimited items (without tags)
  • Peer-to-peer sharing

Tagtory Pro Subscription

Tagtory Pro is available as a subscription or one-time purchase and includes:

  • Unlimited NFC tag registrations
  • Unlimited groups
  • Unlimited photos per item
  • iCloud backup and restore

Subscription Terms

  • Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
  • Yearly: $24.99 USD per year
  • Lifetime: $39.99 USD one-time purchase

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Payment and Billing

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings

Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods
  • Refund requests should be directed to Apple through the App Store

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not use the App to infringe on the rights of others
  • Be responsible for all data you create and store in the App
  • Maintain the security of your device and iCloud account
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • All data is stored locally on your device
  • We do not collect or have access to your data
  • iCloud backups are stored in your personal iCloud account
  • You are responsible for backing up your data

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Tagtory and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components
  • The results of using the App will meet your requirements

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Device damage

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

NFC Tag Disclaimer

Tagtory is designed to work with standard NDEF-compliant NFC tags. We are not responsible for:

  • Compatibility issues with specific NFC tag brands or types
  • Physical damage to NFC tags
  • Data loss due to tag failure or damage
  • Third-party NFC tag products or purchases

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by updating this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Is harmful to other users or third parties
  • Is harmful to our business interests

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
